Marauder engines were in Parklanes. Check out this 1968 Mercury convertible for sale at Barret Jackson in Reno. I can not tell for sure which engine it has. Jim

That is a 428 or 429. My 1970 429 dynoed at 438 RWHP. It was in a RCMP turnpike patrol car special edition. Only 10 made. Put over 200,000 miles on it. Best engine I ever had--- never had the heads off. Please post what the convertible sells for. Good memories. Maury

That's a 390 4bbl. The Colony Park fake paneling is unique...never seen one before.

Website says 390, if it can be believed.

"Z" code in the VIN is for a Super Marauder 390, 315 HP, which was the standard engine in a Park Lane. The only optional engine was the Super Marauder 428, 340 HP.

Sweet car.

I guess My old eyes are playing tricks like not reading all the info :help:I have owned 16 Mercs and I have never seen these pics before. That is a real treasure. Wish I could afford it. Apologeticly. Maury
