View Full Version : Piece of plastic in console

Is that piece available,it's the piece that slides back and forth with the shifter and hides the insides of the consol,it's the one thing that is missing on my interior and it bugs me. Lol

Let's start with oops,I saw interior and my blinders went up and didn't follow through with seeing electronics part,MY Bad.
But if you look at your console following the shifter down to where it goes into the console there is a piece of plastic that the handle goes through,it follows the shift handle as you shift and I guess also keeps dust,dirt and garbage from falling into the console.

I knew exactly what he meant.

I highly doubt you can buy it separately. Best bet is a recycle yard.

I would think that you could just make one from a sheet of thin black plastic. It would be much easier to do than buying the entire shifter assembly.

thanks for the link Larry! as Larry alluded, I have a shifter assembly for sale that has the piece you need. I won't separate unfortunately but it is affordable @ $35 shipped.

I've updated the post with more pictures today, check out the link in the quote! :banana:
