How do mod your headlights and foglights to come on at the same time.

You can do that with the standard switch.
Turn on the lights (dial to right) then gently pull the entire switch and it will toggle outward. Then BOTH will be on simultaneously.

I've tried that and it still won't come on at the sametime.

Foglights will not work with the hi beams... lo beams only.

The fogs only come on when the car is running.

The reason why the fogs only come on while running or key is in and pushed forwards, is because you are either missing a relay or yours went out. There are 2 relays one for when your car is on and one for use without a key. Both are located in the box next to the battery under the hood. You need to check the Manuel for the exact number location, don't know it off the top of my head.

As for both sets of lights not working, most likely you have your highbeams activated by accident which is causing for the fogs not to come on. Happened to me plenty of times and made me think they went out when hb were just activated. You can mod your highbeams to work with fogs, but it is ILLEGAL and I was never really interested in looking up a how to.

I know a lot of electrical stuff in the car, as I wired, rewired, and unwired a lot of ******** in it and tooken the interior apart many times. Things I'm familiar with, lights, lighting control module, ac module, leds when it comes to dash gauges and really everywhere, I got uv lights installed inside, put hids everywhere, galaxy tab for dash with full Bluetooth in the car, full rewire of door speakers(alpines fronts and jbl in back) with 10guage wire and modded the back to fit 6x9, 3 batteries, did the big 3 upgrade 0guage, and I got 2 amps with 2 kicker l7 15"....... So pretty experienced with the electrical side if anybody has questions or needs help just ask!!

At night time, with the headlight switch on auto and the fog lights activated....I hit the unlock button on the remote and only the headlights come on. Until the key is turned the fogs remain off. Is that normal or the relay like You said?

Yea that's the relay like I stated. That's how my car is too and this is because we both are missing that one extra relay. Well mine is missing yours might too or is probably no good anymore. Check your manuel or look it up online to find the 2 fog light relays remember one is for without a key and the other is with the key. They're like 15-20 bucks I changed mine once.

If you guys find the relay, let us know. My fogs only come on with it running, or key forward, so I guess it's got a bad relay. Not like it's a big deal fixing it.

thanks

So I think that this is normal, fogs not turning on while the car is off.. I say this because I currently have a rental 2015 Chrysler 200 and its exactly the same with the fogs... The fogs might just be normally put like this for whatever reason...

Yes that's normal, fogs don't come on unless the engine is running , or key in run position.

Your MM is operating as designed. Foglights only come on with the key in the run position and the lo beam on.

They do not work by themselves nor do they work with the hi beams.

Does anybody know about how to bypass the fogs to work with high beams? Like is it a major hassle to do it? I know it's illegal and bla bla bla but I'm just wondering if it might be a fun little project to work on lol

Ohhh also one more question, this problem is currently on my blue 03 and it was also in my previous 03 black marauder. So when the headlamps are taken off auto and if the car is on at night, once in a while the lights still turn on and will not turn off with the headlight switch untill I turn the car completely off. It only does it once in a while but still very annoying if I have my car parked at night and want to have my car on without the damn lights on.
