Hey, I was wondering where this part is located and how to remove? Btw I have the whole wiper assembly off car + half of the A/c box (round side with fan) due to it being cracked. I dont know if these things removed makes it easier. ... but:help:

Removal of the heater hose in that vicinity makes life much easier.

What none of them said. Take tin foil and wrap it over your finger and poke it really hard.

Will removal of heater hose cause cooling system to get air bound and need the burp procedure ?

Just saw this

Seriously though, swapped bcm’s. It now works but the solder joints appear fine in the one I removed. :dunno:

Could be the relay inside the bcm??

I couldn't get anything to stick to the board, I am not worthy

There are probably very small cracks in the joints. Everyone I repair will work again.

Could be the relay inside the bcm??Bryan, the relay is there to bypass all the other circuitry in the module to produce high speed. If your unit works on high, then the relay is good.

I couldn't get anything to stick to the board, I am not worthyYou have to clean off the conformal coating first. Isopropyl alcohol.

The joints need to be squeaky clean. You need about a 100W soldering iron. You need flux. You need high lead content solder.
