Missing

My 2004 MM is missing between 1000 and 1500 RPM. The short term cure is to turn off the OD or run in second gear. I took it to Ford and they replaced #6 coil, but I still have the problem. This occurs on lite throttle. MM has 52K.
Any insight into this problem would be appreciated.

Did it throw a CEL which directed them to #6?

Replace all the coils
The definitive test for coils is a run from 0-90mph at WOT
That gives the pcm enough time to see a miss and throw a code.
