This is my first time trying to install a 4r75w transmission. I bolted up and proceeded to try an turn engine to put in torque converter bolts, and wouldn't budge. The converter studs are catching/rubbing on that little separation plate thing:confused::help:
Is there a certain way that goes in?
It might be bent? Idk
Is it really needed?
If you don't line the studs up upon installation, you need to unbolt the trans and move it backward.
There is no other way

you didnt seat the torque converter fully... it should clunk in place 3 times and the torque converter stud should be below the bell housing
