Ordering parts to build a CAI for my Eaton swapped car that locates the filter behind the fog light. Does anyone know if regular 4in silicone couplers will fit the lightning 90mm MAF and metco adapter?
I will measure the actual sizes when I get home, but most couplers should be able to be tightened down over the 10mm or less difference without leakage issues eh?
Placing the filter that low is pointless.
It will create turbulence in the MAF table due to bends, and the filter will be exposed to water which gets ingested quickly.
FYI underhood air temps are within 5 degrees of ambient once the car is in motion.

I've got those issues handled. Thanks for the input.
5 degrees is still 5 degrees.
But, have you tried a 4inch coupler on the 90mm MAF?

4" is too big. You need 3.5" ID.

Thinking about it, the air filter that is attached to the metco adapter is 4in.
And if I need 3.5 ID on the coupler that means the OD on the MAF is 3.5, meaning the ID on the outlet of the maf is 85mm ish, which I don't think is right given the 90mm MAF housing.
I think I will just measure when I get home. You always have more wiggle room putting a too large hose on and clamping it down than a too small hose and stretching it over.
