Last week, the temperature dropped to unusual, but welcome, lows in Kansas City. Enough so that when I went to work in the morning, the heat kicked in, but it only came out of the vents. I tried the Floor button and the Defrost button, but the air would only come out of the vents. Annoying but not as bad as the default of air coming through the defrost if the vacuum gasket in the climate control module had gone bad. It had in the past and was replaced a couple years ago so that shouldn't be the problem.
Any thoughts on what I need to check? How much of a pain in the butt is it to get into the airbox to see if there is a door blocked or if there is a kinked vacuum tube?
