There is a electricial plug connection on my Power Steering Pressure Line Hose Assembly that is leaking power steering fluid. Can just the socket be replaced or will I have to replace the whole line and why the leak...an o-ring or???

The sensor should be sealed with an o-ring.

with a quick search I couldn't find a replacement sensor or o-ring.

I would suggest removing the sensor, removing the o-ring and having your local parts store match up the o-ring to a new one(preferably silicone)

No need to replace the entire line, the switch is separately replaceable.

There are 2 versions of that switch, one with a round electrical socket and one with a square. The Blackbird has one while Mary's car has the other. Both are available at Rock Auto, but you have to look under 2003 Crown Vic for one of them (I forget which).

It was the power steering pressure switch and is seperate from the line. Odd that it would leak thru the switch but an easy fix.

These types of switches leak alot since the metal lower part is crimped to the Bakelite upper part.
