Was there a problem with the fitment of the Stainless Works header on the drivers side with the steering shaft?
I thought that I recalled something about having to use a small spacer under the drivers side motor mount so that a tube cleared the shaft.
Or maybe that was for the Motorsport shorty headers.
I went back a couple of years in the exhaust forum but couldn't find an answer so I thought I'd ask here.
Thanks.:)

It used to be a small issue. They have retooled their machines since and fit perfect.

The headers fit perfectly, stay away from their exhaust system.

Why , what's wrong with their exhaust?

Why , what's wrong with their exhaust?
Fitment issues from the X pipe back ,the X pipe isn't setup correctly and throws the whole exhaust system off to the point the drivers side hanger is about 3" too short, and the mufflers are the worst sounding i have ever heard, the system could be great if they would take the time to correct the flaws , but instead they tried saying it was an installation error, im only an ASE CERTIFIED MASTER MECHANIC with over 20 years experience, but hey like i told them what do i know

Headers go on and fit great. Getting the egr tube hooked up was another story though! Reusing the dip stick tube was an ordeal. Had as much time in the egr tube and dip stick as installing the headers.

Perfect fit here. Mine didn't have an EGR bung though :burnout:
So I didn't even have to mess with that

Re: EGR, connect the lower pipe connection first. Hook up top with intake cover off, then pull egr connected intake cover over and bolt down.
no issues with hitting anything.
SW's placement of the EGR tube is completely hit or miss.
The last 2 sets Ive done has required extensive bending of the tube to make fit.

Countless installations later and we have not had this issue.
