Need disc brake set up for Ford 8.8, running an Explorer 8.8 in my 48 Ford and its one of the early drum brake models, looking for brackets, calipers and rotors to upgrade to disc.

Find a newer Explorer in recycle yard. Also order a Ranger - Explorer catalog from www.lmctruck.com

Just look it up on LKQ the 3:73 disc posi 31 spline is 350.00 shipped a few years ago

Brake swap would cost that much, plus may not be 31 spline on the older rear

Have to check into it, don't really want whole axle just brake brackets and parts, my axle already has all my 4 link and coil over brackets welded on just wanting to upgrade to disc. Was hoping to find someone parting out an axle or upgrading their brakes.
