I just got a new tune for my marauder and I would like to know at what mph is your tranny shifting at 1-2 ,2-3 ,3-4 and when does your torque conv locks up at (mph)
mine is
1-2 20mph
2-3 27 mph
3-4 45 mph
torque lock at 64 mph

You need to set shift points for light throttle.....strictly personal preference!!
My TC lockup happens at 42 MPH (4th gear ONLY) at light throttle and unlocks on deceleration......I feel that 64 MPH is just too high!!
Lidio set the TC lockup high like that for highway driving but if it locks at 40-45 it keeps the trans cooler and helps fuel mileage a little around town!!
Good Luck!!

I have mine set later than most at part throttle, and it downshifts sooner too.
At about 50% throttle, It will not go into OD until 60, then lock up +10mph after that. I NEVER want OD / lock up on roads going less than 60 mph.
3rd gear is perfect until then. I like to have the engine between 2500-3000rpm while cruising, unless on the freeway. It's like an older car = 4.10 gear, 3500 stall, 28" tall tire, wound up into the power band :)
Zero loss of fuel mileage with this set up.
All I have to do to make it shift sooner, is let off, or be lighter on the throttle.
It is all about where YOU like it...

Every car is different depending on throttle position and how the driver depresses the throttle. More throttle makes it shift later, less throttle makes it short early. Bottom line is it is throttle position related.
Also, each car we tune is custom tailored to the car and driver.
Ken, if you want adjustments or more explanation of how the car is tuned to shift, just let me or Jeff know.

So I am I :D
6000 miles in the Marauder, and I just put same shift schedule into my stock CV Sport with 3.27 / no stall.
Perfect set up to feel frisky with mid throttle, still easy going when at low throttle, through town at ~25-40 mph light to light.
At WOT or even above 75% throttle - both cars are in attack mode :banana2:
This is my pattern because a disability won't let me shift manually.
Thanks to Marty/Jeff - no need to.
Passengers and guest drivers quickly get used to it, are smiling and commend the result.
It is very custom, and Marty must be consulted for your specific want and combinations.

With my PI3000 TC, I have it unlocked a lot as the lockup is more harsh.
I did mess with the old sct software to change shfts and lockups and at round 30 percent throttle I had: 1st locked, 2nd, 2nd lock, 3rd, 3rd lock, 4th, 4th lock @ 50mph. it really felt like a 7 speed, but wasnt bad with medium TP.
at heavy throttle it was still "beast mode"
at lighter throttle it would stay unlocked
i kinda had a low, medium and high setting in the schedule

This is why flip chips were pretty handy.
You could have a low RPM easy on gas and the ears date night cruiser and simply flip the chip to take out the bully vette at the next light who keeps picking on slow fat cars.
Besides, it might just get your dates panties wet when you ruin his day. Or she'll bail at the next light proving she isn't the right one. Either way win win.
