I have noticed for the last few month of an exhaust vibration from rear passager side. So I thought maybe a hanger was loose. While changing oil I checked it out and found when I knock on the passager side muffle that something vibrating. So it about time for replacement. So of course both will be replaced. I brought the MM with flomasters 40s & I love the tone and sound, but since the MM became my daily driver. Gave moms the GM til I get her car back up. It can be a bit loud at times. I was just fine when I had my GM as the dd & the MM for playtime. Here my question should I replace with same flomasters 40s & wait til I get the GM back or go with a less aggressive flomasters. Oh yea will brand new muffler sound much different from old one

if your ears are used to flowmaster 40 and you like how they sound then stick with the same or go with the super 40's or super 44. Going to magnaflows is something esle and you will notice a big difference in sound. Magnaflows sound less then flowmasters for sure.

Planning to replace my Flowmaster 40s soon also. Been researching different mufflers. I like the current sound also. What I could not find is how does the sound differ between flowmaster40, Flowmaster Super 44, Super 40, and Delta? I've seen a few videos but can't really tell since alot of the videos had other mods to the exhaust. Mine is all stock except the current Flowmaster 40's. Thanks.

I can't answer about any of them except the deltas. I thought these were the quieter option of the group. I put deltas on my old Silverado to keep from dealing with drone. They were definitely quieter compared to some friends that had 40s on the same type Silverado.

Just a tad bit aggressive for my neighborhood. Great video though! Sounds good on the highway.

I need to throw my vote down just because I'm the only Panther on the planet that has them. Black Widow Venom 250s. 'Nuff said.

Part number 11256. You have to click on a muffler type to see all the possibilities. The 4 x 9 for instance is the height and width of case the 18 in reference is the length of the case

With this part # do you need to reducers if you stick with the stock system or can the weld make up the diff?

I'm not sure. The part number I chose was for a 2.5 system . That's only .125 per side so weld should easily fill the difference . My systems isn't stock so I didn't look to see other sizes available

They are 8" shorter than stock tips so will have to extend tailpipes and add hangars .
