I'm putting together the rear axle for the marauder and thought I remembered reading somewhere that some of the diff covers would rub on the aftermarket metco sway bar? Anyone recommend me one that will not thanks a bunch!

It depends on what the ride height of the car is.

Ahhh.. right now it's factory height
I would like to lower it maybe 1.5 in the rear

Then most any girdles will be okay if you get 1" shorter sway bar links. I have the Ford racing one and it only rubbed slightly until I installed the shorter links. Now it's perfect.

Where does one get the shorter end links? part number? web link? and is it for rear only or does front need too if lowered? I have addcos here, just never installed yet.

Measure your current end links , then go to Energy suspensions website, and find the right links for your needs, jegs , and summit also sells them , no need to do anything to the front.

Some of the Mustang guys were complaining about this issue. I believe they came out with a low profile cover for their fix. Not sure if it will fit our cars but might be worth looking at a few Mustang sites.

I had just bought new ES ones so I took them off and cut an inch off the threads and an inch off the spacer.
