I thought I recently saw a thread on how to diagnose a limited slip rear end but now I cant find it. It was something about lifting one side of the rear and see if the wheel spins??Or lifting the whole rear and see if one wheel spins opposite???
I have a 99 expedition that I suspect the clutch packs are gone and I am assuming the procedure would be the same?? If someone has the link to the thread that would be great- TY

Easiest thing to do is to just do a burnout. If you did a one wheel squeal, your clutch packs are shot. If you laid even 11s, rock 'n roll.

It's a '99 Expi. Better find mud. Like really really wet mud LOL
And chain it to a tree. [emoji4]

Most Expi's and F150's from 98-08 don't come with limited slip. Even my loaded '04 Lariat don't.
I think you can tell off the door sticker code for the rear end.

There should be tag on the rear end that has the specs for the rear.

That won't tell him if he has bad clutches :burnout:
