Any other Marauderers going to be around Mo's tomorrow morning? Gonna find out if I gained anything with my new cams. Should be there around 9, maybe a little before so it can cool down a bit.

I think CDUB has his own cot and tooth brush there.

it's bad when I see the word cot and wonder why he would need to keep a cross over tube at mo's?...... maybe I need a time out lol

I predict you'll run out of fuel if you still have the same pumps

at least IDC will still be maxed out 9X%, but seems he's ok with that as a start point - hoping for nice gain!

I now have the twin 340's.
Had no problems with fuel.
Power was down a little, Jeff said high humidity was killing us today.
Lots of time spent on the street, driveability is awesome.

then it is a WIN!
maybe you'll get a dyno gain in better air, but if you love how it drives and sounds, do you care about the number?:shake:

It's much more pleasant to drive now. Got a couple of little irritating things to deal with. Cats are rattling, I guess the guts are loose. Rear end makes some noise, I think it needs spider gears. It's always something.

One reason peak power was down was the rev limiter setting. Previous pull had it set at 7000, this time we left it at the normal street setting of 6800. Both times it was still building power (both hp and tq) at the limit, so maybe I should try to go for 7500 just to see if/when power starts to fall off. The new cams may shift the power band up a bit.

Depend what you really want from it - best running / driving, or highest dyno number.
I tuned one car for max dyno number, went to the track, and taking timing and fuel out made the car quicker at E.T. and far better to drive. Never re tested on dyno, didn't care.
Sounds like it might have a higher rpm peak number in it though.....

It's where it I like it. Good driving and I know it's safe to get on it with low risk of blowing it up.

Was it tuned on a different dyno last time?

All that matters to me is drivability. Numbers are nice for bragging, it's what the car does on the track that counts.

Soooo, whadcha get? [emoji12]

Same dyno. Previous conditions were 5% RH, this time was 73% RH.

I didn't even think to get a printout, I believe we ended up with around 720 at the 6800 rev limiter, the old data was 750 at 7000 rpm.

Not bad for pump gas and 16 lb boost.

I think the humidity was much higher yesterday. It as cool but it was daaaaaamp.
