Here is where I started a while ago.....
http://mercurymarauder.net/forums/showthread.php?t=95934

I am now trying to decide on a standard size for the plaques. My initial design was on a 20x20 but I started to think that possibly somebody would want to display this at a show or something and 20x20 is kinda big....

Sooooooo I was thing 12x18 or 11X13 or 15X15......let me know...

What kind of $$ are you talking about? Could you do one without the 1 of part?

To be honest I hadn't really had a price in mind. The machining and junk is basically free but the time comes in when I'm sanding and finishing the plaques....

What do you guys think is a fair price, maybe 50?:confused:

I think ~50 shipped is fair, depending on your cost for the wood and desired pocket gain for the design effort and actual time per unit made.

I'd like the cars production numbers to be centered, as shown in your first thread, with your series number in smaller font in a lower corner, as not to detract from the design.

12" x 18" looks like 12" would be the width, and 18" tall....about the size of a wall calendar.

I finally decided on 12" wide by 15" tall. It fit the best as far as making the panels and having them a decent display size

Yes those are just the standard drawing program colors, they have a high contrast to each other and allows you too see the machining process better
