Newbie here; as I posted in the Welcome Forum I recently purchased a 2003 300A MM from forum member "Merrill." Merrill bought it in Dec, 2011, from forum member "blazen71." It has the #17 FIT ProCharger that blazen71 got from Joe Walsh.
I want to replace the FIT idler or at least its bearings. Does anybody have Greg's, with FIT, contact information to share with me?
If not, what are some suggestions about using a different idler? I am changing the belt and now is a good time to make a change.
Thank you for the assistance.

Update: blazen71 told me he machined the idler out of stainless to replace FIT's aluminum one. Just need to find replacement bearings.

You can get bearings from an alternator rebuild shop.

ProCharger idlers are not worth the effort......the bearing wallow out the bore and new bearings will fit loosely......get one from BilletFlow...it will outlast the blower!!:bows:

Thank you both for the suggestions on alternator bearings and Billet Flow. Mine no longer has the FIT idler. The person who installed the FIT machined a stainless idler case to replace FIT's hard coat anodized aluminum one.
A local guy rebuilds my alternators so I will try him for bearings. If that does not work I will look at the Billet Flow.

Good news today. For $30 the alternator guy picked up the idler from me at work, R & R'd the bearings, and delivered the idler back.
