All,

To assist in with raising funds for Marauderville II, we've put together a raffle with over $5000 in prizes for the winning. Odds of winning are 1 in 8 if all 250 tickets are sold out, and go up exponentially if they don't. We will also continue to add to the prize list as we gather more things for the raffle.

Cost of tickets is $25, with the grand prize being your choice of a Reinhart Cobra Exhaust System or a Kook's Custom Header's Exhaust System.

For a full list of all the available prizes to be won and to purchase your ticket:

The drawing will occur on-site at the Mercurymarauder.net Breakfast at Marauderville II - The Invasion of Indy on Sunday, August 1st, 2004. Those unable to attend will promptly be notified by phone/email of their winning.

All proceeds from this raffle will benefit Marauderville and help ensure it's the first class event you've come to expect!

Logan:

If the raffle includes the Fender Badges, the tickets are too cheap. Those things have become collector's items. Indeed, I think they have attained the coveted "nanner, nanner, nanner" status.

Can we win more than one prize if we buy more than one ticket?

Logan
05-10-2004, 06:18 AM
This set of badges is the VERY last set from the original run that I've been squirreling away for a rainy day...

Regarding multiple tickets, yes. If you buy multiple tickets, you increase your own odds. All tickets will go into a big bucket at MV II and we'll have a youngster draw the tickets.

Right on Barry, there's no requirement to be at, or participate in Marauderville II to get yourself a ticket, If you're not at the drawing, I'll personally call you to let you know you've won and arrange to get your prize to you.

What Marty said... :) Just pop a check in an envelope to me is just fine... Just do me a favor, when you send it, put a note in the envelope what you're sending me money for. Some folks forget and I have to chase 'em down...

Also make sure to include name/address/phone number etc, so I can enter it into the register.

At last update you'd only sold 53 tickets. The odds are looking real good!

Logan

I think it's about 56 right now, which barely covers the cost of the raffle. If we don't sell a significant amount more tickets, I won't be doing another raffle. If this is a success I'm going to look at doing a supercharger raffle.

Frankly, I'm a little surprised there isn't more interest.

173 tickets available. That's ok, this is one of the primary fund raisers for MVII. Marauderville II will be a success even if I have to pay for it myself. That being said, if I end up footing the bill, you can be sure there won't be a repeat MV, raffle or otherwise.

Not trying to guilt anyone into anything, just the cold hard truth. If there's only this much interest, then's there's no point in me putting the effort into it.

CRUZTAKER

Naw, you can guilt them!!! This is the best op to win something really cool, and really pricey, for a mere $25 ticket. What the F? Are we a group of fast food workers? Do we make a living running a paper route? We're Marauder owners, and damnit, we can afford a ticket....one ticket????

BTW: LOGAN, a number of folks have asked me exactly how this raffle is gonna work. For instance, the prizes, will someone pick their prize? Or will numbers be radomly drawn, and prizes will be from lowest to highest value? The folks not going to the meet are reluctant to participate because they think the prize will be chosen for them.

'splain pleaza mon...:rasta:
