If you converted to a forged Cobra setup what 8 bolt flywheel did you go with and where did you get it?

he had both a flexplate and now a flywheel.
I bought one (SFI flexplate) for my Cobra motor - I'll find the brand....

Product Code: PAX_flexplate PAX28111
164 tooth flexplate internal balance
Features 10.5 in. and 11.5 in. Ford bolt patterns, and 10.75 in. and 11.5 in. GM bolt patterns.

Available in either 6 bolt or 8 bolt crankshaft bolt patterns
6 bolt configuration commonly found on all Crown Victorias and Panthers, most Mustang GTs 96-04 and Mach 1s

Same part, different brand name:

forget where I bought it, just Googled it and found the best price....

Thanks Chief!
you're welcome!
FYI - when I was researching, other brands make them in 8 bolt also, JW 'The Wheel' are a top quality flexplate, I've run them before. They are heavier than most, and help reduce any crank vibration. If you have the coin, you might want to consider pay more/get more...you have options.

My flex plate I got off EBay for about $40. It was off a mid 2000's truck. Never made it on the car though, Brandon took it off my hands. When I dropped in the Cobra block I used the flywheel from the '12 GT500 I got the trans from. Next up will be a McLeod SFI unit.
Sorry, not much help here.
Last I knew, any 8 bolt 164 tooth mod motor were the same fit but slight difference in T/C bolt patterns. IIRC there is two different configurations.

All the reviews say that the holes don't line up.
Trying to keep this as plug and play as possible

I used a new Ford truck flywheel for about $65-70. The only issue was the small pattern holes had to be enlarged, they had pilot holes in the correct spots. A few minutes to enlarge the holes and chamfer the edges and it was good to go.

That's the one I ordered.
I know I'm out of touch when I don't want to have to modify parts to.get them to work!

That's a nice flexplate - glad I suggested it ;)
I loved the one I had before, top quality and very heavy compared to the others offered. Hope she lines up perfectly for you
