Our friend Jim (aka: fastblackmerc) and I have been swappin' parts here and there and outta the goodness of his heart he sent me some LED's for my instrument cluster and other gauges......WOW!!
They are BRIGHT but "dimmable" and should last forever!!:bows::beer:
Definitely worth a little effort to install!!
Thanks again Jim!!:D

Any high end LEDs get too hot and fail over time. Only good for courtesy lighting etc. the cheaper leds are just right imo

High end LEDs should have a heat sink built in... that's why they are high end!
Since an LED uses 85% of the energy to make light and the remaining 15% is heat they should last a very long time as opposed to incandescent bulbs.

I SAID VEGAS BABY!!!!!
I just washed the Black and three sevens came up. If I had another shirt and another pair of underwear--I would have left 20 min ago straight from the carwash and it is a 8 hour drive... just turned 17,727. Almost drove around for 50 more miles just so I could park with 17,777!
Vegas BABY!!!!

Contact "fastblackmerc" he's the electronics GURU!!:bows:
Dozens of companies sell automotive LED's but Jim researched the right brightness, colors and dimmability....that's why it's worth speaking with him!!
