I like the 1/8th mile speed, 136mph in 660ft. Trying to picture (2) football fields end-to-end and doing 136mph in that distance in a MM. :bows:

Did it have more boost in it on the first run that was 5 hundredths slower to the 60’ (compared to the second run), but still a couple hundredths and 1.5ish mph faster to the strip?

Both runs were not done the same.
We usually leave on the 2 step at 4500 rpm but on that run , which was our third attempt,to get it down the cold track we launched at 3000.On the next run on a warmer track 2 hours later we left at a higher rpm but missed the shift from 1 st to 2nd gear and went right to 3rd.

Ahh. Makes sense. Might take a look inside the trans after that. That will EAT the direct clutches. In a TH400, when in 1st gear, the direct drum (right behind the fwd drum) is going about 84% (less of a % if you have closer ratio aftermarket gears) the speed of the fwd drum, but backwards. Normally on a 1-2 shift, the direct drum just comes to a complete stop, and then on the 2-3 shift, it's instantly brought up to the same rpm as the fwd drum.
Long story longer, on a 1-3 shift, you're asking the direct drum to instantly change rpms and rotation. Like a 10,000+rpm difference depending on what rpm you're at. Directs don't like that, especially not in something making the power you're making.

Getting ready for next season.Transmission was taken out last week and sent to ATI to be freshened and add super case.
