Well now that I have changed out my creased rear passenger door with the straight one from LG88 (Thank You Sir!) I have one dent behind the door on the wheel well lip and the car is ready for a re-spray. Anybody ever had one sprayed, curious about the approx cost to do a full spray, factory black, nothing fancy just nice daily driver paint job.

Material costs will be about the same...... Labor costs will vary from area to area.

If painting whole car, $3000 + easily. And that is not show car paint job

My advice, knock the windows and run channels out, take off the keypad, door handles, lights, and bumpers. It's some effort but the outcome will be outstanding. The less you mask the better. Black tends to hide on trim and rubber but a good paint job can last 15 more years. Preparation is 90% of the outcome of paint. Especially black!

Good thing about black is that you can do panel by panel and not have to blend it
Just do the 1/4 panel and it'll be about 800 bucks. Try the ford dealer, that's how they did my mustang. Looks great

Just make sure the painter adjusts the color to your car, then yes, it can be panel painted.

Just had mine painted Tuxedo Black. Complete car, taken all apart and painted. Inside doors and new fender that was rusted. Life time warranty on the paint. $8800.

Did that include door handles taken off?, and trim around windows?, what about the glass? Did they color sand and rub the paint as well? Were the body side mouldings removed?

It's more than just the 1/4, previous owner had a bra on it so nose and forward part of hood is all scuffed up, front right fender has a scratch, couple paint bubbles on roof, basically just about every panel has some sort of small blemish.
