View Full Version : Engine block identifiers stock vs cobra
Hi there, having owned two Marauders previously I feel a bit stupid asking these questions but it's been a while and I'm looking at another.
Are there any obvious identifiers that one could look for on the engine block that would identify if it's an original block or a cobra block?
Thanks!

Thank You! I will print and take it with me. the car I'm looking at is highly modified and seems to be done right just unable to reach the original owner who sold it 4 years ago. If it is what I think it is I'm pulling the trigger on it tomorrow.

A small magnet will tell the story!!
Well I'm a bit disappointed, the car overall was very clean, there was some misrepresentation as to some of the go fast goodies (it was no fault of the seller) and after a bit of digging into it's past I'll have to say no to this one for the price.
If it was perfect it would not have been an issue. My gut was telling me something and I was right. Good thing I'm not impulsive it would have been a costly mistake. The bottom end is on borrowed time.
