Hello guys, don't post much but am addicted to the site. I just put new nittos 295/45/18 rear widen wheels 255/45/18 fronts and decided to buy the white lettering kit. Something different along with a marauder bra I just bought from nsxbob. See what you guys think, muscle car look. Tried to add pictures having alittle bit of trouble.

Would need to see pics, but for me, white letter tires are 80's. But that is my choice.

Here is another picture, just got done putting them on. I've notice on the internet the white lettering is making a comeback on all kinds of different sport cars and super cars.

IMHO..... Letters are too BIG

Letter way too big to be white in my opinion..I personally like the blackwall look. I even put BFG Mud terrains on my F350 with white letter facing in and painted them flat black with a paint pen

How about a pic showing the whole side of the car. Not a fan of the bra, but I understand its use if the MM is a daily driver.

Hmmm... I wonder what white outline lettering would look like.

I think it it totally cool, and looks very fresh!

You are correct about the white letter/white wall coming back in style.

Not my style so much, but I think it looks fabulous. Good on ya for trying something new.

I wonder, do they have some shiny black lettering paint... Might look cool too.

Please post more pictures of whole car closeup!

PS bet it looks sick at 60mph!

I think someone should do wide whitewalls like 3 inch. Then maybe some curb feelers. That would be dope

I'm usually a fan of white letters in trucks. I agree that these letters look to big but I must say that the rear pretty cool. If have to see the whole side but I think it would look real good with white letters on back with black on front.

I like it, smaller letters would look best

Here is a picture of the whole car. I'm still try to get use to it. Worst case swap the white letters to the inside. I'm trying to give the marauder a different look for the upcoming Sema show in a couple weeks.

this.
I'd like it far more had the letters been traditional sized = the 80's comeback retro look.
Those huge letters remind me of slicks on race cars.
At least you're breaking new ground - it might catch on!

I know this is trying to make a comeback but it should really stay in the 70's where it looked it's best.

Love white lettering, Thought about this when I saw it on line...but agree that it don't looked good on all cars. This isn't bad, but like others have said, a little smaller would be very nice...IMO

I agree with Chief, it looks like you have drag racing tires on it. If that was your goal consider it a touchdown.

that lettering is HUGE

I know in the 70's and 80's all my cars had RWL or OWL.

whatever you like is all that matters!

This is definitely different, I like it on YOUR car but not mine! Great job doing something different and not following the "herd mentality".

I remember the day when white lettered tires and air shocks with wide tires and painting the rear white were cool ,now its every thing painted black and having your car 1 inch off the ground, but probably 20 or so years from now we will be thinking what were we thinking then,I always liked the white lettered tire look but those are a little big ,my .02

I hate that I am such a traditionalist. Not my fancy but, different :burnout:. Whatever puts the air in your sails I guess. It's yours and you can do what you'd like to it. But, thanks for sharing.

White letter tires never really went out of style to me. I have raised white letters wrapped around keystone classics on the 70 goat and I love the look. Here on the marauder I think it would look better if the letters were smaller.

BIG letters are OK for these cars (attachment)....not so much for 4 door sedans IMHO!!:shake:

As said before.....If you like 'em that's all that counts!!

After spending $140 on lettering kit and another $40 on mounting the tires outside in Ive decided to put the white letters on the inside since I couldn't get them unglued. I'll be seeing the guys that sold them to me next week at Sema, maybe they'll give me a price break on smaller lettering. I'm in a big fan of white letters but just didn't quite look right on the marauder. It had been an itch I had for awhile but didn't look right. I guess having the Cobras it's making me implement the look on the marauder but it's still a four door sedan. Thanks for all the opinions. In my eyes it's just constructive criticism.
