I just installed a set of Carbotech 1521 pads. They have excellent cold bite and no squeal. I just installed them on Saturday so not sure how much dust they'll kick out yet.

The Carbotech™ 1521™ is our high performance street compound. The 1521™ compound is known for its release and modulation, along with unmatched rotor friendliness. 1521™ is also a very low dusting and low noise compound with an excellent initial bite. This compound's excellent linear torque production provides incredible braking force without ABS intervention. Carbotech™ 1521™ operating range starts out at ambient and goes up to 800°F (426°C+). 1521™ is suitable for ALL street cars, perfect for your tow vehicle or fleet vehicle. Carbotech™ 1521™ is NOT recommended for ANY track use.

I run their AX6 Autocross pad in the summer but they squeal like a garbage truck and they kick out a lot of dust, but they are awesome pads.

If you want a good all around pad, the Carbotech 1521 is something you should look at. They are expensive, but they are much better than the Hawk HPS or OEM pad.

You can purchase direct from Carbotech or through KNS Brakes here on the site.

Thanks for the info. I have these waiting to go on my Wilwood Aero6 14" X 1.25" front kit this weekend.

Funny thing about the Hawk HPS, I had poor results on the factory brakes (pad transfer, pulsing) but better results with Hawk HPS on the Wilwood FNSL6R kit with 14" X 1.1" rotors. And this Wilwood kit ate every other pad I threw at it in short order: BP10, Porterfield R4S and Carbotech XP8 were all burned up in short order, about 7K miles.
