New owner 2003 Marauder, the compass is not working, removed the 3 screws but do not want to force it down. What is the best way of dropping that unit without damaging anything? YouTube videos are nonexistent and I've searched here but couldnt find anything. Also is there an easy way to pop those lenses overhead, I want to put LED's but they're a *****.

You have to work your fingers in between the headliner and the console and pull down with some force.

BTW..... I can fix the compass and you can ONLY install LEDs after you take down the console. I can supply LEDs also.... :D

Yes.................. find where the clips are and pull down close to them.

Practically hung my full weight on it, I'm 210 pounds, and it didn't budge. Also could not get my fingers in between the console and headliner. Could anyone post a YouTube video showing exactly how to do this.
