After reading several posts on SVT site, there is a discrepancy whether the Ford & GM s/cc is in fact oil the same thing.
I see many are going against the manufacturers recommend that use only approved oil, buy substituting Mobil 1 10-30.
I have 100k on the blower and was advised to change at this interval.
I saw someone post 40.00 for 2 -4oz. Bottles?
I guess that's no crazier than three crossover tube O rings for 17.00
I'm not going to scrimp on s/c oil, even if it does sound ridiculous .
What have you used if you have changed yours?

I all so used GM and got it off of e-bay. Yes it is high but that is what has to happen to play.

It would be nice if that worked for my Procharger.

The Ford s/c oil is over three times the price as the GM brand oil.
Amazon had the best price I saw @ $7.XX ea. For the GM
Brand.
The Ford branded oil Was $22.XX ea. , Makes me think there may be a difference.
Maybe I am gullible, but I still want to use the Ford oil.

I bought the GM oil. It's just oil.

I helped a buddy change oil in his gtp. (I know it's a thread about oil for a trilogy but) instead of buying a expensive or evens a cheap thing to get the oil out. I used a windex sprayer straight off the bottle. It worked good. Just throwing that out there I'm sure just about any and all of you people already own windex

I've used that method before. Works great

Great suggestions, how long does it take for the Windex method?
I'm not as spry as you whippersnappers!
My back hurts thinking about it.

The one I use was off an old Bactine bottle...I use it for the P/S reservoir as well.
