It may not be news you all on here, but I haven't been on here in a while. I have been up all night and had the Velocity channel on in the background while I was doing something else and looked up to see the 2002 Marauder concept car being test driven at an auction. They talked about the car's history and later it auctioned off for $47,000.
The car, of course, is the black two door supercharged convertible that I've seen pictures of but never knew whether it was still around. I almost fell on the floor when I saw it. It is still in good shape considering not everything worked on it originally. Like not having side window glass. Tach didn't work and a couple other fairly minor stuff. The major thing was its not street legal, they said because it never went through emissions, crash testing, etc, since it was built in 02 and wasn't the same as the production cars that followed.
If you guys already know about it, I apologize. I did scan through recent threads and didn't see anything about it.
If it's news to you all, it was on at 5:00 AM MST on the Velocity channel today. I didn't catch which auction it was and have family/health issues that will keep me from following up on this for a while. I just wanted to post this in case you all didn't know about it so if you want you can watch for a rerun and figure out which auction it was sold at.
Cheers, Chip

Cheers, ChipIt wasn't street legal because it had no structural integrity. Steve and the boys literally just cut the roof off.
