Permatex MAF to adapter

I permatexed the mass air flow sensor to the adapter , then I read the installation instructions .
The instructions call for making a gasket out of paper gasket material.
Is there a good reason to believe that it will problematic using permatex?

Only if you were super sloppy and actually got some goo on the maf. You'll be fine otherwise

I'd do a gasket. Reason being it's much easier to take apart, even if you have to replace the gasket. Permatex is a bear to clean off.
