I'm interested in some aftermarket mufflers. I currently have Magnaflow now, but want something different. Let me know what you have, I just may be interested.

If you want a loud exhaust ticket magnet get the Aeros , or the Pypes!

Naaah not a fan of loud, just want something nice until I decide to pull the trigger on larger exhaust. The Magnaflows are ok until I get on it. Can't stand it. Almost in the mind to put my stock mufflers back on

Aero Turbines are deffinately in my future! But Black Widows, totally worth it. They're really deep until about 1500-2000 rpms, then they wail like a Banshee above that.

Member Babbage put a muffler x pipe from magnaflow on his And then Borla xps mufflers. He says it's quite quiet. I have same Borlas but regular x pipe which instant to change to h pipe

When I had stock exhaust I had rear cat delete and resonator delete, stock mufflers, and I thought it sounded just right. Nice deep tone and not overly loud, but still very noticeable. I had that set-up on the stock engine and with Trilogy; it sounded great to me with both.

"X-Pipe"??:argue:
An X-pipe can be raspy depending on what mufflers are paired with it. My X-pipe sounds smooth & higher bitched with my Black Widows, no rasp at all. Magnaflows always sounded a pretty raspy to me, no matter what they were paired with.
JBeezy, do you still have your rear cats?

My 18" Magnaflows with an "X-Pipe" sounded like TWO MAD HONDAS with "Fart Cans"......HORRIBLE!!:argue::mad2:
Had a custom "H-Pipe" made and sounds GREAT with a nice rumble and NO DRONE......PERFECT!!:bow s:

An X pipe is the worst thing you can do to a Marauder exhaust, the H pipe gives it a mellow mad/angry bear growl!

What did you do for the H pipe? Aftermarket or just have a shop add a pipe between? May be a dumb question, but... I have to ask

This car is Despicable, but I'm more interested in the rear end gears and what's done to the transmission? That 1-2 shift is very nice!

If you are asking me I had Bryan Jones of old "Grand Muffler" fab it up!!:bows:
Any decent muffler shop can build you one.......give it a try!!

That's what I was asking. I've always run x pipes, but in this case it sounds the H pipe is the best way to go. I'll check it out and report back

Would I be crazy to install my stock mufflers back on the car and add an h pipe? I'm suppose to go in tomorrow for the H pipe add, so I was thinking.
Maybe just put stock mufflers back in without adding the H pipe. Maybe get him to remove the resanators from the stock tips

The H pipe makes the sound like old school muscle car like a hotrod, the X pipe makes it little more quiet like imports.
Also you should check on the benefits of what they give you. An X pipe adds more horses while an H pipe add more torque.
My current set up is an X pipe with magnaflows. I choosed this set up because I don't like loud and I don't like the back explosions that H pipes produce.

I listened to a few, but wanted to find one with stock mufflers and rear cats removed. I think it would sound pretty good
