View Full Version : Tensioner Pulley for S/C or Trilogy

Apparently this is not the correct pulley thats on this car & it was like this when i purchased it & I looked at my friends trilogy s/c & his pulley is wider than mines so how do i get the correct pulley. Could I get it from the part house or off an cobra or what? I need help if any of you dont mind thanks god bless

From the pic it looks like someone put a washer between the tensioner and the pulley or the bearing isn't seated right?

Pulley looks like it's the right width. Something else is wrong.

I had the opposite happen when I switched from my cobra tensioner to a Thump RRR. Makes me wonder if there are two different offset specifications.

Just noticed that it does look like a washer between the pulley

no washer! it came that way. worked just fine for me 6mo!

the belt did look off a bit, but never had any trouble out of it though.

I had a similar issue I just changed to a larger diameter and thicker pulley. I have the part number at home.

looking at your pic ... why not put some spacers(washers) under the bracket to move the pulley out
