Is there any way to turn off annoying seat belt beep?It's in the manual. Beltminder feature under Seating and Safety Restraints.

While annoying, that feature is wonderful IMHO. My Marauder is the first car that has actually forced my passengers to buckle up because it annoys the crap out of you until you do. On my previous cars, I could never get any of them to buckle up which scared me, since you never know what kind of idiot might be on the road.

Ditto....and let me add that seatbelts do save lives, airbags TAKE lives when seatbelts aren't worn in conjunction.

We don't want to lose a new member, buckle up man!:nono:

The "annoying beep" can be programmed out, but it may cost you at the dealership.

The procedure is in the owners manual and is fairly straight forward. The only thing to know is that the confirmation light they refer to is the airbag light not the seatbelt light. Piece of cake.
