Brand of Axle

What is good brand of axle? I know Moser is one but not looking to spend that much. I see Dorman and USA. And please let's not get carried away with this.

I know chief455 and justbob have Yukon components and are happy with their stuff

Bob, remember you get what you pay for..... I'd only use quality parts in anything that is safety related.... Dorman isn't a good quality part.... I'd only use Dorman for hard to find small parts, nuts, washers, interior parts, grommets, etc.

I bought a set of USA Standard axles for my car off Rock Auto. They turned out to be made by Yukon.

Just put 31s dorman's on mine, Nothing bad to say, came ready to install with studs and tone ring, even came with new lug nuts(I threw them in the bottom of my tool box)

There are plenty of things that dorman does just fine, but there are a few things they messed up on, its going to happen given the scope of things they manufacture.

I did the Moser's for 'bout, four hundred.
It was like a hundred more than stock for the pair.
Seems like a fair price.
I got them in four days .
