View Full Version : Escape Radio Aux Input?
Replaced the original radio with an Escape 6 CD 6l8t-18c815-FD. The only adapter I can find on the forum PIE frd03* aux/s and it is no longer available. I'm just looking to add a 3.5mm jack to plug my phone into utilizing either the SAT or AUX input on the radio. Anybody have an alternative?

Maybe try calling some local audio installation places. Might get lucky or maybe they can point you in the right direction

You can get a new aftermarket head unit with AUX and Bluetooth for that price point

Installed yesterday. Plug and play as far as the wiring. That being said adding the extra harness ended up being a major pain. Had to cut out a small section on the left side to make room for the extra 24 pin plug. Then the cabling for the rca box had to be pulled through from the back to get the radio to go in. There is almost but not quite enough room for my hand and arm to go through the opening for the eatc after removing the trim and module to pull the cable through from the back of the radio. As much of a pain in the ass as it was the escape radio looks factory and the aux plug for music will be mounted in the console. Sounds good with pioneer speakers and the factory sub. Like most things it would most likely be quicker if I had to do it over. Down side is now to remove the radio the EATC module and trim will have to be removed to to remove the radio. Pictures when the rest of the interior is in.(might be a while)
