So I had a bunch of Mercury parts, left overs for sale, that are likely never going to sell. Then recently, I got a bunch more, mostly wheel cover stuff. Again, most of it not going to sell.

Winter's here, the cars are put away, and I have too much time on my hands.

Add the two and what do you get?

There's some backstory to the top part. I had a 1963 Comet S-22 sedan. Had a 1986(?) 5.0 Mustang engine and 5-speed for it, along with a 1982 Mustang GT aluminum 2V intake. The plan was to make it look like a stock 260 4-speed car, but life got in the way and the parts were sold before they had a chance to come together. This is a tribute to that car.

The rest is just my love of full size 1963 Mercs and those cool god's heads. All of this stuff is Marauder or S-55 related.

An automotive man-cave. I haven't seen a cover like that before that has a pocket for the antenna. Mine are Noah covers from JC Whitney that you have to cut and put in a grommet for the antenna.

It's from California Car Cover, but I'm not very happy with them. I had to modify the cover myself to get it to fit right because they wouldn't.

I also had to cut a hole in for a grommet. They provided the antenna cover separately, but rather than use it separately I sewed it onto the cover. Works a lot better.

Where did you find the S55 badge?! I've scoured swap meets trying to find one!!

I never knew they offered an antenna cover. Mine fits OK, just low to the floor and a little baggy over the bumpers.

Had it for a long time. Probably came off of a parts car.

I like the idea, always wanted to do some art with car emblems and badges but they are really hard to come by over here so I did this with a projector and some paint.
