NO TAIL LIGHTS

Hey y'all,It's been a while since I've posted anything but,I've been keeping up with the forums......Here's the problem,Hopefully one of the electrical gods will be able to help....
No taillights or tag light when the headlights are on...I have brake lights.I have signal or turn signal lights only when the caution button is pushed..No caution lights,button up or down...
Can somebody give me a clue what's wrong??? I have checked the fuses and they are good...The inside trunk light is working also...as well as all the interior lights..
Looking for HELP.....Thanks..:bigcry: Anyone think it may be the multi function switch???I should add that the turn signals do not come off after a turn...Also,just noticed that my fog lights don't work either...
All fuses checked OK....All bulbs checked OK...Just checked and the signal lights DO return after turning but,only with the hazard button pushed...

I'm going to go ahead and change out the multi function switch and hope that's it...If anyone else has any suggestions,PLEASE POST THEM,or PM me...Thanks...bugsy

I have a FBM upgraded LCM...My headlights are fine....The Hazard lights not working and no return on the turn signals,don't sound like the LCM...

Without having the car here..... A turn signal switch can cause this as well, and is most likely the culprit.

I ordered a multi function switch...BTW they are $50 shipped from Rock Auto.....I'll put that in and hope the problem is solved...

Could it be the LCM??? I got one from FBM a few years ago...I PM'd him and I'm waiting to hear from him. I'm curious if any of you think it may be the LCM from the symptoms I've listed....OR,maybe the headlight switch...I hope not because it looks like a real pain in the a-- job...I'd probably leave that option for last and have it done by a pro..

I had the same problem many moons ago.
The dealer traced it to a wire under the rear seat.

The part of your post that caught my attention was that lights would work when hazard switch was activated. It is possible that the LCM could potentially cause this issue, but, I don't believe the hazards run through the LCM. But all that stuff runs through the turn signal switch.

OK, I went out yesterday and tried to see what's what.....Now my hazards are working....My turn signals are working,my brake lights are working....
The only thing NOT working are the taillights, fog lights and tag light....Headlights good...Hi beams good,corner lights good....interior lights good...trunk lights good....

Anyone have an idea what's going on????

I got the headlight switch out.....Justbob or FBM or anone tell me how to test it please.....A diagram or picture of the back of the switch,not a schematic.....
MFS seems to be OK....Still working on getting the LCM switched out...

No parking lights front or rear....clock doen't work unless I turn the key...No taillights when headlights are on.....

Any help is much appreciated.....Thanks

You really need to get an alldatadiy.com account.. If you don't have a shop manual I don't see how anyone could NOT have alldata for how cheap it is.

10 wire - headlamp
3 wire - dimmer

I didn't send you a dimmer connector view because you don't need it.

With the info I gave you on the brown wire that exits the LCM, the connector views on the multifunction switch, the headlamp switch, and the testing procedures for it, there is literally nothing else I can do for you besides hopping a plane.

Book the flight and have a town car with a well gifted escort packing a huge double bacon cheeseburger and a Coke for me and give me five minutes alone to fix this when I arrive. Probably cheaper than paying for my time off plus pain and suffering..[emoji6]
