dim dashlights

does anyone know about getting a brighter dash? the dash is very dim and I would like to either get brighter bulbs or a new dash cluster. is there a site that I could get marauder stuff, like floor mats( I have a damaged original and would like to replace it), a spoiler , covers for the tail lights. I've seen pictures of a mesh looking piece for the lower part of the grill area, I would like 1 of those. maybe louder mufflers.
things like that .I am new here and to the marauder world, so I would appreciate any direction.

FYI . I TOOK MY CLUSTER OUT , REMOVED THE LENS, AND POLISHED BOTH SIDES . ALSO ALL BULBS WERE CHANGED . SOME WERE BURNT OUT . NOW ITS LIKE NEW AND THERE IS A BIG DIFFERANCE. AS FAR AS YOUR GRILL . I REMOVED IT AND ACQIRED A PIECE OF STAINLESS STEEL MESH . 1/4 INCH SQUARES . I HAD IT BLACK POWDER COATED , AND CUT IT TO FIT DIRECTLY TO THE BACK OF THE GRILL . SERVES TWO PURPOSES , LOOKS GREAT AND KEEP LARGER THINGS ,BUGS , ROCKS , FROM HITTING THE CONDERSER .LOT CHEAPER TO DO YOUR SELF .

I like the grill with the mess, I will definitely try the lights soon. I have seen black over the brake lights and I was told that it is paint, I don't know if I want that commitment .

It's called niteshade, a translucent black that gets darker with more coats. get it at auto parts like autozone etc., its a spray can.. going too dark and it is a safety violation (supposed to have red rear reflectors) and some areas may ticket you, others are more lenient.

May be a dumb question but have you tried the wheel in your dash on the left side of your steering wheel? Took me a few days to realize it dims & brightens the dash cluster.

yes I have tried the wheel on the switch. I bought the car used and the previous owner had the windows tinted( i'm waiting to get pulled over, they are so dark) so dark it is dark inside the car .I asked before , what does the last 6 digits mean on the vin # and how do I understand mine. what I would like to know is if I have a 300a or what and it seems some people know what number their car is.....like 306 of 1100 or something like that

What kind of bulbs did you replace the dash lights with? Leds? Any pics??

I bet he used incandescent bulbs as a replacement.

I just installed LEDs in my Ranger - Marauder has already been upgraded - and they are nice and bright... dimmable too.

I can set you up with everything you need. PM me.

You will be amazed with the difference in light output. LEDs have a very white light, unlike the yellow light of an incandescent bulb. 85% of an incandescent bulb energy usage is wasted as heat - just look at the top of the center pod gauge housings - where as 85% of an LED bulb energy is used for light output.

My RPM Guage, & the right side of my speedometer Guage stopped lighting up. Think if I pull the cluster and swap all the bulbs with led I should be back working? Also my speedometer doesn't go past 60 anymore. Any suggestions?
