headlight switch

Who knows how to remove headlight switch???Please point me to how to...


I've been thinking that my no taillight situation is due to the multi function switch...Now I'm wondering if it might be the headlight switch...How do I remove it????Or even test it???

Also, I just saw that there is a cut off under the hood for the fog lights...Where is that???

First things first man. Check on the stop light fuse and hazard fuse. Then check on the stop light switch on the pedal.

Do your parking lights work on the front but not in the back? Is that what your issue is.?

Yep,that's about it....Tag light doen't work either...new bulb

Tag bulb melts the socket and causes a no light situation......LED solved that problem for me....thanks Jim!!:beer:

Just checked and no parking lights front or rear...no tag light...I checked the socket and it's fine..put in a new bulb..nada....

clock is working...headlights and interior lights are good....no tail lights..

I reset the LCM,pulled the neg. battery cable....corner lights came back.;..they were good one day bad the next.now on.....

Waiting on the new and improved LCM from FBM....Hopefully that will do the trick...

Just an FYI.... there is no "reset" for the LCM.

Sounds like you have a wiring / ground issue.

Lets see what the LCM does.

There are like mucho posts that say that unplugging one of the plugs or disconnecting the neg.battery terminal reset their LCM's...Check it out...

I would NEVER argue with you Mr.FBM about anything to do with lighting or Marauders in general.....You are the expert....Just reporting what happened......I'm expecting the new LCM today and as you say....lets see what happens.....

If a relay was sticking or weak maybe unplugging one or more of the connectors jostled the LCM enough to make it work again, so does tapping the LCM.....

All the posts I've seen about removing the negative cable from the battery are to reset the PCM, not the LCM...

I got the headlight switch out....Can somebody please post a diagram and tests and test points etc......:eek:

The headlight switch bulbs were out...new switch on it's way...

I now have Alldata DIY....as well as the service manual....

Corner lights fixed....I was able to find the trunk bulb assembly..on its way also....

I could have fixed your headlight switch bulb for much less than what you paid for another switch.

Could have also set you up with a better trunk lighting system.

No insurance necessary. Just get the tracking number.
