With the driver seat all the way back, my knees are almost touching the dash. I am hoping someone has modified the seat railing to allow the more leg room. Or suggest an after market system I can buy and have installed.

I think there is a pin you can remove in the seat rail that will give you an inch or so.

I need 4-6 inches of additional leg room - even to the point no one can sit behind me!

This reminds me of Bubba Smith trying to learn to drive in a Honda Civic in the first Police Academy movie. He just ripped the seat out and sat in the back seat. Hope you find a solution.

Are you 10 feet tall?

You will have to move the seat tracks back. Drill new mounting holes with proper reinforcement. Had to do that once in the 80's on a brand new Lincoln Town Car. Customer had to sign all kinds of liability waivers with the dealership. As far as I know there was never any problems.

This begs the question, how tall are you?

KC is 6'4" and cannot even sit in the seat.

Sounds like a plan plus a new pin stop.

I'm 6'6" and the Marauder has plenty of leg room for me , one of the reasons bought it, i usually prefer a crew cab pick up.

Jeez Motown!!

I'm 6'2" and am pretty comfortable in Panther cockpits. Could be better; my knee occasionally hits the steering column when I brake.

I adjust the front of the seat all the way up , and the rear of the seat all the way down, that helps a ton with leg room.

My pants inseam is 36 inches, which I do not feel makes for giraffe legs. However, I still need more room. KC said he will drill new holes and reposition the seat 4" back with a bolt stop.

Roght now, the seat goes so far forward, my 13 year-old daughter can barely sit the steering wheel is so close. Not well thought out.

I'm 6'7", I removed the pin in the track and now no one can fit behind me with the seat all the way back.
You may get four inches but without taking the back seat out, any more than that, I don't know how that is possible

I'm 6'4" also with a 36" inseam and have never had an issue with legroom either. Back of the seat down, front of the seat up. Usually still have room for someone to sit behind me.
And I'm not a small dude either. Maybe the seat is too high? My father-in-law that's 6'7" fits tight but his DD is an escape lol

Do you have the pedals all the way forward?

Do you have the pedals all the way forward?

The pedals are recessed (closest to the firewall) as possible; not toward me.

But thank you for the suggestion.

I have experienced moments like this before:

experienced owners do not have the problem I have. It is time I stop and inspect everything again. What if the something under the seat is blocking, the pin is not set all the way back, pedals, etc. While feel sure none of these apply, something is not adding up with me having another unique problem.

I will double-check and report back (photos).
