Good morning/afternoon/evening to anyone who may be reading this blog!

My name is Squid, a soldier in the US Army stationed overseas. Last month I purchased a 2003 Marauder SIGHT-UNSEEN on Facebook marketplace. I'm going to use this blog thread to keep myself, and anyone else interested in the life of this car. Here is a picture of how she sits today:

Specifications:
2003 Mercury Marauder
Mileage: 84k? - This vehicle is ODO exempt. Dash shows 107k.
Title: Salvage - A decade ago a tree fell on the trunk and car was marked totaled. Hopped between dealerships for another decade, and now it's mine!

Mods:
(Pretty bone stock. Even has stock head unit and exhaust)
Accufab throttle body - I need to confirm this
K&N "Cold Air" Intake

Interior:
Pretty clean. Would consider it an 8.5 out of 10. Small holes in the front seats.

Current issues:
Door lock actuators - Driver door completely out, and passenger going out. Looking to replace the lock module completely.
Exhaust - Had a pretty prominent leak near cats, did get it patched but will likely opt to replace whole exhaust.
Paint - bad fade on hood and trunk, minor chipping. Scheduled to have car wrapped next month in gloss black.
Tires - TOO OLD. Date codes of 2021, 2020, 2016, 2014. Driving car from Michigan to Texas next week so I will be replacing all the rubber.

Current plans:
Get the car to Texas, get it wrapped and tinted. I will be installing a nice Kenwood head unit and upgrading the speakers this week (I need music for the road trip). Next up will probably be suspension. Plan is to get Ridetech coilovers, and then ADTR for sway bars, control arms, and watt's links.
I have a set of white-tube smoked Euro taillights from my 2011 CVPI that I will be installing, and I'll need to get a new set of refreshed headlights to clean up the front.

Future plans:
I really want to give this car some power. Currently way to broke to consider adding a supercharger, but it would be nice
Manual swap to 5 speed. Just need to find a transmission.
Can't forget that I need to add the Marauder spoiler. Unfortunately, this one did not have that option installed.
