    Old guy gets stuck in his cherished Cadillac XLR

    https://jalopnik.com/man-gets-stuck-...ter-1829008202

    First mistake the old guy made was paying 100 large for a 2006 Cadillac!
    Second mistake was not keeping an empty Gatorade bottle in the car.

    The last paragraph of the news article is the b*tch slap of truth;

    There are a few takeaways here.
    People should read their owner’s manuals, or at least keep them in their cars.
    Dealers should explain key safety features like this when they sell the vehicles.
    And automakers should probably try to make stuff as intuitive as possible (this applies for pretty much all features),

    especially when their clients tend to be old folks (Corvette owners, Cadillac owners).

    I agree. Never cared for all the electronic bells and whistles. I even think they went slightly overboard with the climate control on out Marauders. Give me knobs to turn and I'm happy.
    You "feel" the difference because you want to "feel" the difference. Since you just spent money on the upgrade you "have" to feel the difference

    I'm looking to eliminate the double pump process I have to follow right now to get the pedal hard
