    The IRS is dead!

Not saying you should give up on a dream.

Just saying try what's available 1st.

It's cheap and may give you what you want.

If the end product doesn't meet your expectations, then go after the IRS.

Someone will always buy the parts you pull back off it.

The single bolt tensioner (thump RRR or not) wont hold off belt slip once you start to make real power. It will be a weak spot in your build."

Wow! So respectful and helpful. I hope the member reveals their identity. But, out of respect for their privacy, I cannot.

This is a typical example of the members here: always willing to help. Given my low knowledge of cars in general, I need all the help I can get.

Just kidding. I am changing the MMR valve covers, which are powder coated glossy black to sterling charcoal gun metal. I hope the following parts next to one another will pop!
    a. sterling charcoal gun metal valve covers with blue inserts
    b. indigo blue fuel rails
    c. Metco pulleys with glossy black outer with polished inner

    Example:

    Current MMR valve covers:

New color (sorry Lifespeed, but I love your engine):

    The IRS is dead!

I'd be pissed with BRG racing.
    ATI balancer
    ThumpRRR single bolt tensioner
    Custom PS pump pulley
    PC timing cover

Just a little homework (from them/yourself) would have cost you a lot less

Reliable Carriers picked up my Marauder this morning. They are taking a Porsche 918 Spyder to Atlanta for auction. My ride arrives to Marty on Thursday.

Upon arrival to my house and again at MO's Speed Shop, the engine does not sound right! . Marty agrees and is pulling the engine to inspect, and if necessary, correct any issues. I want the piece of mind before we proceed with the ADTR blower.

The motor has been pulled to inspect against engine build sheet; ensure no issues exist toward motor tune and break-in.

Just before Christmas, 2018, MO's Speed Shop discovered my motor was destroyed - starved by oil. The line from the oil pump to the engine was twisted/crimped due to excessive torque during installation. Other issues played a role in the motor's failure. In early January, 2019, a new short block was ordered from Livernois (same specs as before). I had to wait a few weeks for customer orders placed before me to complete. Next week, the completely assembled motor (short block, heads, balancer, etc. will be shipped to MO's Speed Shop for installation into my Marauder. KC, BRG Racing owner, paid for the new short block, parts and labor of both Livernois and MO's Speed Shop for engine removal, analysis, build, shipping and re-installation! The monies will exceed $15,000.00! I am grateful KC showed integrity of the highest level paying for all that was required.

Last week, I ordered from Chris, owner of ADTR.net, the Vortech V3-Si supercharger with all the trimmings. It will arrive at MO's Speed Shop eight weeks from now.

Many other issues on my Marauder need attention, which Marty is addressing one-by-one. I am guessing all work will complete July 2019.
