    Smile Addco front sway bar.

I ordered my Addco front sway bar today. I did my rear suspension last Monday. CHE PREFORMANCE upper and lower control arms and Watts link arms. And I noticed the original owner has put a rear Addco sway bar on my car. Glad I didn't buy one. But I ordered the Front Addco sway bar for my 04. Does anybody here have one on there Mercury Marauder ? Or a Crown Victoria or a Grand Marquis ? And it so does it make a difference in handing and feel of the car ?

Yes and yes it stiffens it up nicely. I did front and rear at the same time but you will still feel a difference.

I felt no difference in the control arms install. Maybe because I already had the Addco rear Sway bar. I already paid for the front sway bar with polyurethane bushings. So let's see it in fell the difference.

Even though the 1 3/8" hollow front bar is only a few pounds lighter , so was the Ford racing starter five pounds lighter than stock.
Totally noticed a difference between the rear bar , C/A' s , & Watts link from stock.
I did home made OEM boxed lower control arms and Watts links ( retaining the height control )and OEM limo uppers .
Every thing made a difference on tail wag and felt more planted .
I liked the way it felt so well, I put almost the same parts on the LSE,
The stock sway bar from the Marauder was still 3mm wider than the bar that came with the LSE HPP .
The LSE HPP Got OEM boxed uppers and no Watts link, but
Still an outstanding improvement over stock, just with those few goodies.
And the best part it was one of the few times, I modded both cars and parted with only a few hundo!
I was a Ford employee at the time and I would get a sweet deal on parts.
All the Ford Dealerships parts guys in my area , love the Marauder!
