I took mine to the dealer years ago and they changed everything; both bags, compressor, fuse. I never did find what was the actual failed part.

Follow the air tubing from the compressor to the rear end. We had a brand new CV that must have been a Friday 4:55 car and STAP didn't "click" the tubing in securely. It popped loose after a few thousand miles leaving the ass of the car on the bump stops. Easy fix if that's what happened to your car.

The pump comes on... The rear is new so... It could just be the pump

If the pump makes noise, let's hope it puts out air

Pull the air filter, check to see if the line is connected to the compressor, if that's good, check to see if it's connected out back

I would say the pump would run all the time until the height sensor closed

Does your air compressor shut off like normal?

This recently happened to me...again. I checked all the usual suspects but it ended up being the air compressor...again. While waiting for a new compressor, I filled the air bags and turned the air suspension switch in trunk to "OFF" position. You can fill bags easily with a compressor by using a fitting that matches the air tube running to your air bags. This way you won't be dragging around in the meantime.
