    2004 Marauder

    My buddy is looking at a 2004 Marauder (they are asking $10,000.00) and I'm wondering what inside information I can pass on to him. General 2004 issues....EX:paint issues, axle issues, etc.... It's got just over 104,000 miles on it. I'll probably look at it to see if it has the rear cooling mod as well as other minor things that I might know to look for.

    Can't recall any specific '04 issues only. Aside from some decontentment and the addition of TC the only diff that pops into mind is the '04's have duel knock sensors. that according to some on the site doesn't matter much.

    Listen for weird noises and check and make sure everything works, Adj. pedals, A/C, air blows through proper vents etc. Usually it's pretty obvious if the car has been taken care of or not.

    For a stock Marauder, that number seems a bit heavy...

    I paid $10k for My '04 with Moonroof n Heated seats with 78k miles and I thought I overpaid a little bit...Florida car it's whole life. Garage kept, lady driven. All service done @ Ford.

    I say that price is a bit high for the miles. I bought an 03 about a year ago from a member here, "thanks BTW I am enjoying the car" its bone stock and it had 50k miles on it and paid just under that price. Best part is the car is totally rust free. Look for nicer car for the price or get higher mileage car cheaper. Just my 2 cents.
