    Discontinued

I'm needing some new tires. Does anyone know if Cooper Zeons or Nitto Motivos are being discontinued? I hear Firestone Wide Oval Firehawks are. Would want all season tires as well. Thanks

What makes you think they are being discontinued? Motivo's are a fairly recent addition to Nitto's line.

    Tires

A member in the tire/auto repair business said Firehawks were being discontinued. I was just wondering if the other popular tires mentioned on here might be.

Firestone has been known to discontinue tires . i dealt with that on another car thru them. i see no reason for cooper or nitto to discontinue theirs.

I have no experience with the Coopers, but we have a set of the Motivos in the stock sizes and have no complaints.

Nitto Motivos is a definitely a preferred tire choice and as far as I know they are plenty in stock across the country in OEM sizes (or close variations).

I told you the tires where discontinued due to improvements on tread design, and a name change. This is common regardless of brand, and can happen at anytime without notice. Manufacturer's also decide to continue to offer or get rid of a certain size based on sales and demand. IE the rear 245/55R18 on our cars is not popular. HTH

    Looking for tires myself.

Take a look at these tires available.

Toyo is the signature tire of the local tire shop Les Schwab out here in the PNW. Toyo's have always been good to me. Plenty of decent options though.

The Nitto 235/50-18 and 245/55-18 are still on the list.
