Remove center console armrest / bin

The center storage console was replaced once under warranty, then failed again a few years ago. It opens and closes ok but the interior compartment has collapsed down about 1/2". I think I could fix it if I could get at the plastic internal compartment from the underside, so any tips on getting it off are welcome, thanks.

Glad I know this now. When mine was new I installed a CD changer and iPod in the console. I gotta take mine apart and fix the holes and remove the antique changer.

Yes, this didn't occur to me partly because of the power connection in there.
