    Electrical issues

Need some help on this plz. Started a few weeks ago. Dash light, headlights, radio, climate control all went haywire when accelerating past 3500 rpm. No loss in power and no codes. When I drive under normal conditions no issues. Ran a Datalog and noticed the bolts spike to 15.9 when issues occurs. Changed the alternator voltage regulator and same issue. I have videos but can’t upload them here

And the biggest mistake people make is thinking just like that, new parts can be bad. Have you tested the battery with a midtronics or similar tester?

Check all the positive & negative connections in the engine compartment.

They should be clean and tight.

As these cars get older you may need to take each one off and clean them with steel wool so they are nice and shiny. Make sure the contact area is clean too.

Sign of the times. In the future no one will speak in complete sentences. Takes too much time and effort.

Problem solved. Turned out to be a bad alternator. After the shop changed the voltage regulator & rectifier the problem still exists, so I swapped out a spare alternator and everything is back to normal.

    Good job

Baffles me how many people get bad rebuilt, bad reman, and bad brand new alternators on these cars

If anyone in the future runs across this, buy a used marauder alternator at

I did last summer, works perfectly
    The twins2.3 whipple/aluminatorVortech V-2 lots of goodies
