Looking to lower my front end

I want to get some drop on the front end of the marauder but I don't want to cut my original coils. I took a stroll through the local junk yard and found an unmarked police car. Would these coils be a good swap or am I wasting my time?

I'm looking to get 1.5 to 2 inch drop

See other current thread on same topic.

Some have used a $69.00 Monroe spring/shock kit, cutting 1 coil off spring before installation. I am contemplating doing this too.

If you are going to lower it 2” then you better roll the inside of your fenders or it’s going to shred your tires.

I cut one full coil over a decade ago. It yielded a 2" drop. The ride can be jouncy. With a chin spoiler you must back into every parking spot as it is 4" from the pavement. Without cams and Carfixer alignment specs expect 6,000 mile front tire life of inner tread. But, the lowered stance was worth the trade-offs. I would do it again. Eibach made springs for these. From what I remember reading here it not only dropped it, the ride harshness increased. I have not seen tires destroyed by the fender sheetmetal yet. I think Blackmobile has Fruit Punch dropped hard with no contact.

Here's what My cars both looked like lowered in the front. The look was nice, had to sacrifice some ride quality tho.

Just cut 1 coil. It will drop the car 1 full inch. I've personally never seen 1 coil cut yielding 2 full inches...

If you do it right, get camber bolts and a good alignment, it won't ride rough, and you won't wear your tires. I cut 1 coil from the fronts and modified the Jounce stops. Installed aftermarket camber bolts
And I haven't had to really change my driving for bumps and such.

Ridetech coilovers + SPC camber bolts + Carfixer alignment.
    Problem solved.
